Most websites convert between 1% and 3%. Through structured testing and optimization, we typically see improvements of 30% to 60% within the first 90 days. A redesign is an opinion. CRO is a data-driven process. Redesigns are based on what looks good to the designer or stakeholders, and they often tank conversion rates because nobody tested whether the new design actually performs better. CRO uses real user data, heatmaps, session recordings, and controlled A/B tests to make incremental improvements that are proven to work before going live. We never change something just because it "feels right." Every change earns its place through measurable results.

A valid test needs to reach statistical significance, which typically requires 2 to 4 weeks and at least 1,000 conversions per variation, depending on your traffic volume and baseline conversion rate. Running a test for only a few days or declaring a winner with a handful of conversions is a common mistake that leads to false positives. We calculate the required sample size before launching any test and never call a winner early, even when the initial data looks promising.

Our core stack includes VWO for A/B and multivariate testing, Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity for heatmaps and session recordings, and Google Analytics 4 for conversion tracking and funnel analysis. We also use custom user surveys, form analytics tools, and page speed analyzers to build a complete picture of where and why visitors drop off. The tool selection depends on your traffic volume and technical setup, but the methodology stays the same regardless of platform.

You need enough traffic to reach statistical significance in a reasonable timeframe. For most A/B tests, that means at least 10,000 monthly visitors to your key pages. If your traffic is lower than that, we focus on high-impact qualitative research, usability audits, heatmap analysis, and conversion-focused page redesigns rather than split testing. These approaches can deliver significant conversion improvements without requiring large sample sizes.

The biggest killers we see repeatedly are slow page load times (every extra second costs 7% in conversions), confusing or buried calls to action, forms with too many required fields, generic headlines that do not match the ad or search intent that brought the visitor, and lack of social proof near the point of conversion. Mobile experience is another major one. Most businesses have a desktop-first design that falls apart on mobile, where the majority of their traffic actually comes from.
